Complaint Procedures
Agave Family Law, LLC is deeply committed to delivering exceptional, ethical, and compassionate legal representation to every client. Open, honest communication is the cornerstone of a successful attorney-client relationship. If at any point during representation questions, concerns, or disagreements arise regarding services, billing, or case management, a clear process is available to address and resolve the matter efficiently.

Step 1: Direct Communication and Internal Review
Clients are encouraged to voice any dissatisfaction directly as soon as it arises. Addressing concerns early is often the fastest way to resolve misunderstandings. To initiate a formal internal review of a concern, clients may submit a detailed written summary of the issue via email to the firm's primary contact address.

Upon receipt of a written concern, a thorough review of the case file, billing records, or specific event in question will be conducted immediately. A formal response or an invitation to discuss the matter via a scheduled telephone conference will be provided within a reasonable timeframe, typically not exceeding five business days. The goal of this process is to find a fair, amicable, and productive resolution that preserves the integrity of the attorney-client relationship.

Step 2: Formal Regulatory Review
Clients always retain the right to seek external guidance if an internal resolution cannot be reached, or if they believe an ethical violation has occurred. Legal professionals in New Mexico are strictly bound by the New Mexico Rules of Professional Conduct and are regulated by the state judiciary.

Formal complaints regarding attorney conduct, ethics, or professional discipline may be directed to the official regulatory body for the state:
